weather? read below and tell me if it is too cold to go to do skatepark to skateboard?

tomorrow, i am planning on going to this outdoor free concrete skatepark in allen, texas(a town in dallas, tx.) i live in dallas, texas. i am going to that skatepark to skateboard. i checked the forecast. it says sunny with high of 51 degrees and low of 34 degrees. it says 9 am with 30 degrees Fahrenheit(feels like 23 degrees Fahrenheit), 12pm with 45 degrees Fahrenheit(feels like 40 degrees Fahrenheit), 3pm with 49 degrees Fahrenheit(feels like 46 degrees Fahrenheit), 6pm with 48 degrees Fahrenheit(feels like 46 degrees Fahrenheit), and 9pm with 42 degrees Fahrenheit(feels like 39 degrees Fahrenheit). these are the time and temperatures at the skatepark. is it okay for me to go or it is too cold. can i dress in shorts or long baggy shorts that go past my knees and a normal shirt or normal big shirt or it is too cold for that.

That’s all up to how you tolerate cold weather. I would find that weather much to cold to be outdoors, but many people would enjoy being active in those temperatures. Plan on going, but wear layers of clothing, so you can keep warm if you need to.

Where do I pick up a UPS package?

It’s been a week since I ordered my item and was suppose to come in two-day shipping last Friday but the weather in MO kept it from moving on schedule. Since Wednesday, it’s arrived in Dallas but has shown no progress. UPS is going VERY slowly on my delivery and I am upset. I cannot wait until who knows when because I am in need of the dog crate I ordered and the UPS location says:

I can go drive and pick it up but where would I do that?

I live in Arlington, Texas.

You have no way of knowing WHERE your box is unless you call UPS and ask them. If it arrived in Dallas on Wednesday night, it’s probably on a truck somewhere already and you won’t be able to pick it up yourself.

I currently live in Dallas-Fort Worth area and wish to one day live in Amarillo, TX because I feel the weather willmore agreeable (esp in summer time). How are the winters in Amarillo? Also is a fun place to live in? thanks so much for your responses!

What is the best area to live in Dallas Tx to raise a family?

I am relocating from Kansas City Mo. I have 2 wonderful children, and I am really concerened about the area’s and schools that my children will be attending. My children ages are 1 and 4. Me and my husband have a combined income of 130,000 and we are looking for an area with great schools, low crime, and close to shopping areas . Any ideas????

In the suburbs. Preferably to the north, such as Richardson or Plano. Dallas ISD is entirely too big and has too many schools and way too much politics. Other school districts have their own politics, too. But my advice would be for you to stay involved in their school life as a school volunteer. You’ll retain more “control” that way.

Whatever you do, stay out of the south part of Dallas.

how much snow does it take to delay or cancel a flight?

i’m supposed to be flying out tomorrow to dallas from columbus ohio.. but tonighht we are expected to get 3-8 inches of snow on top of what we already have and i have to drive 2 hours north to get to the airport??

so i was wonder how much snow is too much?

and should i even bother packin my bags?
i’m in ashland KY..

There is not a specific amount of snow that they will cancel a flight for – there are many factors that are involved in order to cancel a flight, ie. visibility, turbulence, runway conditions, etc..

I would suggest that you pack your bags and get ready to travel

Why do news stations change sets all the time?

It seems like every two or three years a news station, the local ones here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, change new sets every two or three years or so.

New anchor desk, new news set design, new weather center, etc.

Do news stations feel like they need to update their sets to attract more viewers?

The same reason Pepsi and Coke change their bottle designs every couple years. People get bored and have short attention spans, so they need new looks to keep them interested.
