Looking for my biological father: “Ron Guererro” last know in Dallas TX. 1974?

Looking for my biological father last seen in Dallas texas in 1974. He was on the tv commercials for Action TV store in Dallas in 1974 also. He would be about 60 yrs old or so now. I think he may have been 28 in 1974. He is spanish or italian. was told he favored sonny bono somewhat. he dated my mom in dallas tx in 1973 and i was born in feb 1974. His friends called him ronnie G. His brother may have owned or managed that action tv in 1973-74. His parents may live in northern california. please let me know if any of this rings a bell.

How are the Lakers going to win a title if they don’t play any 4th quarter defense?

Its the same bull all the time. You get a sizable lead, you let up on defense, then all of a sudden your lead is down to 2, then you can’t knock down your shots, then you find yourself asking Kobe to chunk up a bunch of shots to bring you back. Same thing Sunday. We had a 12 pt. lead against Dallas only to let up on defense for a stretch, then you need a comeback.

This is the worst defense Phil Jackson has ever had. Why did Chicago win 6 NBA titles in the 90′s? Defense. It wasn’t all Jordan and Pippen, they didn’t even score over 100 pts. every night, but they knew how to close the game out on defense. You can see this coming a mile away: we’re going to run up against a team in the playoffs we’re supposed to beat on paper, we’re going to have the lead in the 4th, stop playing defense, and all of a sudden we’re going to find ourselves down two games in the series. Then everyone is going to ask what’s going on.

I agree the Lakers best quarter this season have been the 2nd and 3rd and for some reasons the Lakers always gives up huge leads in the 4th. It’s not just defence it’s also the offence. the Lakers play sloppy 4th quarter. I still think the Lakers will win it all this year, they just need to focus and play all teams like the game have meaning.

digital converter box/tv setup?

i have a sansui tv with the following connections on the rear: audio/video in and out, ant. 75 ohm(a coaxial connection),s video.
I have a ge digital converter box and have it interfaced with the tv as per instructions. Problem is, I am only getting one channel(channel 8) and three different versions of it to boot! i am not getting any more channels. I have a radio shack hdtv antenna interfaced with the digital converter box also. HELP!

The problem is your antenna. It’s not good enough to get anything but the one channel. Consider installing an outdoor antenna if possible. That will get you the most channels. If that’s not possible, try different indoor antennas, possibly by taking advantage of Radio Shack’s or some other retailers satisfaction guaranteed return policy.

If meeting in the playoffs next season, Who will control the series, Warriors or Mavs?

If meeting in the playoffs again, I would say……….. Hmm, That’s a tough choice. Warriors have controled the Mavs throughout the last two years like Dallas winning only 1 or 2 games. They also dominated the Mavs this season in the playoffs 4 games to 1, but the Mavs have great players, hit points, rebounds, and nice passing with Dirk on the team. What are your opinions?

Nellie knows everything about the Mavs, so if he stays in Golden State next year, I think the Warriors will win it. The Mavs aren’t the only team the Warriors can beat. Remember, the did win 9 out of 10 games going into the playoffs, and I think they’ll be more ready for it this year. Dude, GSW is gonna be LETHAL!!!
