Dallas is awful. Virgil’s I haven’t been to but I hear decent things about. Why not check out a really good place though, like Hill Country or Blue Smoke. They’re not that far from Midtown. Or if you’re feeling “adventurous” head to Williamsburg and check out Fette Sau or Fatty ‘Cue. Whatever you do, don’t go to Dallas. They’re crappy, overpriced chain restaurant food.

Most of the hotels in Quebec City offer packages. But I find the packages are more of a 1 – 2 night thing. If your coming from Dallas Texas, Im assuming you will be staying more than two nights. But im pretty sure you can add nights onto the package.

The Hilton Quebec City is a very nice hotel with the best views of the city and bay since it’s on a steep hill and such a tall building.

Im not sure if you know but it’s the most photographed hotel in the world, and makes the list of the world’s most exlusive and expensive hotels. The next hotel with packages I have for you is at the Hotel Palace Royal. It’s a moderatly priced 4 star hotel, and it’s the hotel we stayed at in Quebec City. It is a beautiful hotel with superb views of the city. It’s right in the historic downtown, near all the nightlife and famous Quebec City restaurants. All rooms are Suites (Again at a good price). The best part is the pool which is indoors. At the pool you feel like your in Venice or some place in Spain. Since the pool is in the middle of the hotel, all the rooms that face the interior of the hotel are nice because they have balconies and it’s like being (again) in Venice.

As for Airfare to Quebec City from Dallas, there are no non stop flights (you may already know this but just incase). Most flights have a connection in New York, Boston, Toronto, Ottawa or Montreal. Northwest, Continental, Delta, Air Canada all fly into Quebec from a connection.

By the way, you should consider going to Quebec in January when the city has Carnivale. It’s a huge winter carnival that im sure you would enjoy.

As for weather in Novemeber, in early November the average is about 35 – 40 (Farenheit), and in late November it can go well below 32. Snow dosen’t start untill late November or early December.
