Are there any Japanese town’s in Texas on in the Dallas area?
I’m new to Texas, I’ve only been her 3 days, and I’m really missing my hometown in Oklahoma. There was a lot of culture there and international groups. I had a lot of international friends, especially from Japan because I speak Japanese. I’m really missing takoyaki and takuan maki and my friends. So I’m wonder is there a japanese town in Dallas? Or any schools that teach Japanese?
Are there any good authentic Japanese restaurants in Dallas? I’m really missing Takoyaki.

Looking for my biological father last seen in Dallas texas in 1974. He was on the tv commercials for Action TV store in Dallas in 1974 also. He would be about 60 yrs old or so now. I think he may have been 28 in 1974. He is spanish or italian. was told he favored sonny bono somewhat. he dated my mom in dallas tx in 1973 and i was born in feb 1974. His friends called him ronnie G. His brother may have owned or managed that action tv in 1973-74. His parents may live in northern california. please let me know if any of this rings a bell.

I saw a bit of it weeks back on Spanish TV program and today decided to look it up on internet. By the way it has been removed from at least the first four sites which show up on internet. I know it definitely is not a meteor, nor a rocket, nor a comet. I was thinking maybe a fighter plane since it would be the only plausible answer. But even then I think those maneuvers are not really possible by even the best of pilots.

Since it was captured by a television camera there is no chance anything was doctored. Could this be considered the best proof yet of unidentified flying objects?

P.S. In case link doesn’t open, it is the “DFW (Dallas-Fort Worth) NBC Camera Captures Strange Light. If you still cannot find it look up “NBC camera captures UFO in Texas”.

They’re fun to watch, but not to be taken too seriously. You can go to Roswell New Mexico and get some good alien “goo” to go with the videos.

What is your favorite place in the U.S. you’ve ever visited? How well did you like it? Why?

I LOVED Texas! I liked the friendly people, hot weather, natural beauty, active nightlife, history, culture, and so on. In particular, I liked Ft. Worth, Austin, San Antone, and Galveston. But I also enjoyed some of the smaller towns such as Ore City, Crawford, and Belton. Dallas County, on the other hand, was just okay. I’d love to live there, it’s in many ways better than Kentucky (not to trash my home state, though.)
Please, don’t state where you live now, b/c we know you’ve visited there (lol).

Which school should i attend west plano senior high or east plano high?

i just moved from georgia to dallas a month ago and im kinda nervous about school. im about to be a senior in highschool and have to start all over again making friends and everything… i live in west plano in apartments called willow bend and its down the street from the school but i heard that its a snobby school and im not poor at all but im sure not rich so would i fit in there, i dont drive so i would probably walk to school… would i make friends at west plano senior high… which school is better?

Plano East is the newer school, so maybe you would fit in better there.

Dallas is awful. Virgil’s I haven’t been to but I hear decent things about. Why not check out a really good place though, like Hill Country or Blue Smoke. They’re not that far from Midtown. Or if you’re feeling “adventurous” head to Williamsburg and check out Fette Sau or Fatty ‘Cue. Whatever you do, don’t go to Dallas. They’re crappy, overpriced chain restaurant food.

Where can I find clove oil?

I’ve read both that it is and isn’t available in the US. If anyone knows if it’s available in the DFW area of Texas, let me know!! I read somewhere that it’s in a lot of toothache medicines, but I need the pure eugenol, not a mixture. When you go to the pharmacy, ask the drugist if they can order you some “Oil of Cloves” they can order it for you from their herbal sources. You can get it at a health food store also, but call them before you go and ask them if they have it in stock. I use it on tooth aches and sore in my mouth. It smells good also.
